Special Celebrations

Noarlunga Primary School celebrated 150 years in term 3 2009 and is one of the oldest schools in the metropolitan area of South Australia. The School was established in 1859 and began with 37 students, but today has approximately 65 students. Footsteps was so pleased when asked to be a part of the schools 150th celebration. Students were dressed in period costume and performed a barn dance, a funk routine and the Madagascar groove for the school community and its special guests including members of parliament, council and ex principals. The sun was shining and the students danced up a storm.

Well done Noarlunga Primary School what a wonderful day. Congratulations to Lyn Ferenci and her team of dedicated staff.
