Australian Capital Territory Dance Programme - Funk Aerobics
Teaching students about physical activity is all about having fun which is why Footsteps Dance Company has recently introduced Aerobics. Students will feel like backup dancers to all the latest pop stars as they work through a different Funk Aerobic routine each week!
This course will enhance student’s kinaesthetic awareness, improve their movement, flexibility, rhythm and performance skills. Funk Aerobics will challenge students physically and mentally, develop their stamina and co-ordination while gaining a better understanding of the music.
Our instructors perform each routine and then work through it step by step,becoming a part of the music and choreography. Our instructors prepare for each class like it is a performance at a sell out concert and the students are their audience and fans.

Programme:
Footsteps updates its choreography annually to include dances of an individual nature that reflect the latest in movement and music trends.
